Core requirements for the solution include the ability to:
- Track CCAD-owned assets as they move into and out of tool cribs.
- Monitor work-in-progress assets and provide containment alarms.
- Supply all necessary hardware such as sleds, tablets, tags, and supporting peripherals.
- Install and configure software to enable solution capabilities, available both on-premises and via cloud.
- Support a range of data capture technologies for both indoor and outdoor asset tracking, including barcode, active and passive RFID, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, mesh, cellular, and satellite.

- Allow for customization to address unique customer feature requests.
- Implement alerting capabilities (audible/visual, email, SMS).

Additionally, the solicitation covers commercially available solutions for inside and outside plant cabling upgrades, data center infrastructure enhancements, IT resiliency, cybersecurity, and both IP and TDM-based telephony. Contractors should also be capable of providing comprehensive engineering, furnishing, installation, testing, support, and maintenance services for both short- and long-term engagements.
All proposed solutions must adhere to the latest cybersecurity requirements as defined by NIST and Army ICN standards, addressing both IT and operational technology (OT) environments.
