The Department of Defense (DoD), through the 774th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (774 ESS), has issued a Sources Sought Notice (Procurement Identifier: FA807525R0001) to assess industry capabilities in support of the forthcoming DoD Information Analysis Centers Multiple Award Contract (IACMAC). This notice is a critical step in the Government’s acquisition planning process, seeking to inform the strategy for a follow-on contract that will provide mission-critical research and development (R&D) services across the DoD’s scientific and technology ecosystem.
The IACMAC is envisioned as an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, uniquely positioned as the only DoD vehicle specifically established to acquire customized R&D services spanning a broad array of highly specialized focus areas. The contract will support hundreds of requiring activities, including all military services, Combatant Commands, DoD laboratories, and other defense and federal agencies. A distinguishing feature of the IACMAC is its mandate to investigate existing Scientific and Technical Information (STI) and to ensure that new STI generated during task order performance is reported and shared for Government-wide use.
The primary objective of this Sources Sought Notice is to gather information from all types of businesses regarding their capabilities to meet the evolving R&D needs of the DoD. Interested parties are requested to review and respond to the attached Questionnaire, which is essential for the Government’s acquisition planning. Notably, the notice has been updated to allow respondents to submit experience demonstrating at least six months of relevant performance within the past three years. All responses must be submitted via email to [email protected] by 12:00 PM Central Time on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Additional materials beyond the completed Questionnaire will not be considered.
This notice is classified under NAICS Code 541715, “Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology),” with Product Service Code AC32. The contracting activity is managed by the 774 ESS, a federal office, with primary and secondary points of contact being Rebecca Robeson ([email protected], 402-294-9604) and Kelly Lybolt ([email protected], 402-294-7204), respectively.
It is important to note that this is a market research effort only; responses are voluntary and will be used solely for planning purposes. The Government will not reimburse any costs associated with responding, and submission of proprietary information is neither requested nor protected from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act.
Contractors with demonstrated experience in providing advanced R&D services to federal agencies—particularly those with a track record of generating and managing scientific and technical information—are encouraged to participate. This opportunity is particularly relevant for organizations seeking to contribute to the DoD’s ongoing innovation and technology advancement initiatives through a contract vehicle that emphasizes both technical excellence and information sharing across the defense community.
